How do you reduce back pain during your menstrual cycle?

Asked 3 years ago

Hello ladies! What helps you with lower back pain during your cycle? I'm generally pain-free (Lucky me). However, this time around, my back is literally killing me. Which works best for you: painkillers or a hot water bottle? If medication, which do you recommend?

Lower back pain during your period is no joke! Norco is a general pain killer that is made up of acetaminophen and hydrocodone; some doctors will prescribe Norco for the pain and a hefty dose of 800mg Ibuprofen for the inflammation. But, I find that using a heating pad and doing simple Piriformis stretching can really do the trick.
