Can having PCOS worsen your period? Does it hurt more or can it make your flow heavier?

Yes. PCOS is a hormonal disorder that results in enlarged ovaries that develop small cysts on the outer edges. If you have PCOS, you are likely to experience irregular periods, heavy bleeding, clots, severe period pain, cramping, and bloating. As PCOS progresses, your symptoms could worsen. PCOS is treatable, not curable.
