Can you drink coffee if you have endometriosis?

Is caffeine bad for endometriosis? If so, can I drink decaf coffee instead?

Coffee contains caffeine which, being acidic, may aggravate the stomach lining causing ulcers or stomach pain. Caffeine is also a laxative and women with endometriosis may find that it worsens any stomach problems they may have including diarrhea or abdominal cramping. If this is the case, switching to decaf may work for you. If you find that it worsens your symptoms, cut off any form of caffeine from your diet.
